Lilly Johanna Mitchell

She is survived by her five sisters, Mabel Watson, Elsie Middleton, Ina Clark (Melvin), Pauline Matheny and Doris Pitzer; also surviving her are her children, Marvin Smiley (Vernora), Jim Smiley (Pam), Elk, WA, Linda Dickey, Kettle Falls, WA, Vicki Hatcher, Coeur d’Alene, ID and Bob Mitchell (Tami) Walla Walla, WA and grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren too numerous to count.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and two brothers.

Lilly was an active member of her church, Zion Lutheran, Deer Park, WA where she worked diligently to prepare quilts for the needy. She loved music, flowers, stitching and family. She lived in the Chattaroy, WA area before moving to Deer Park in her later years, where she had many helpful neighbors and good friends. After that she spent time with her children in Kettle Falls and Metaline. She lived a full and happy life.

The memorial service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 12 noon, preceded by a viewing at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St., Spokane from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
