Jeffery Raymond York, 74, died on August 17, 2022, of pancreatic cancer at his home in Newman Lake, WA. Jeff was born on November 25, 1947 in Orofino, ID. Jeff was adopted by Wallace and Mary York and grew up in Elk City, ID. He met the love of his life, Kathryn Cleaver. They were married in 1969. They had two children, Alisha and Michael. They moved to Newman Lake in 1977, and settled down. He drove semi-truck for 47 years. He took over the father figure role of his two grandkids, Tanner and Carter. He spent most of his time fishing and hanging out with family. He loved all his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Alisha Fyre, son Michael Cox, daughter-in-law Samantha Cox, grandchildren Tanner Fyre, Carter Fyre, Joseph Cox and Rubi Cox. Brother Tom York, sister-in-law Julia York, sister Lynette Brumbaugh, brother-in-law Jim Brumbaugh.
