Born in Lawndale, California on March 9, 1946. Son of Beatrice and Charles Williams. Passed away September 20, 2010 in Spokane, Washington. His family is grateful for all the love and care he received from his doctors (his guys) that he absolutely adored – Dr. Jeff Clode, Dr. Paul Lin, Dr. Howard Stang and his new friend, Dr. Steve Nisco. He has fought a courageous battle for 13 years. No man ever put so much into each day. He celebrated his life with his love, Teresa, his children and grandchildren. We are all blessed for his life teachings, his love and his faith. He has left us for awhile but he has left us with an abundance of memories, smiles and laughter. This is a man who loved any man, woman, child or animal he met. He was simply an amazing man. Honey, how can I thank you for all you have given me? You always said the Lord brought us together because He wanted to see what true love looked like. You have always been there to guide and encourage me. To support anything I did and cheer me along. You are my rock. I wish every woman in the world could experience the wonder of your love. Forever and ever you are in my heart. I love you so. Your “Tootie.” Gordie is survived by his love, Teresa; his children, Dawn and Keene Jamros, Patti and Scott Sauer, Laura Williams and Mike Austin, Ronda and Mike Grow; his little gang of grandkids, Devin, Jonah, Madison, Ethan and Lexi Marie; sisters, Robyn, Jeannie, and Pat; lifelong friend, Doug Train; and dozens and dozens of nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Gordie. He will be missed by many family friends and neighbors. He was welcomed into Heaven by his big brother, “Jumbo,” who most likely said, “Come with me, little brother. I’ve got something great to show you!” Oh, the Lord has his hands full now with those two. We know you guys are having a great time. Prayer service and potluck will be held at 2:30pm, Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Community Bible Chapel, 3506 W. Princeton Ave, Spokane. Pastor Bob Smith, officiating.
