Tommy was born on July 25th, 1944 in Wilmington, NC, to Newsom Joyner and Mary Taylor. He graduated from Troutman High School in North Carolina with his diploma. Tommy played football, basketball and enjoyed pep club. After graduation Tommy was drafted to serve our Country in Vietnam from 1965-1966 assigned to the strike support unit operating in the Central Highlines. When Tommy returned from Vietnam he studied to be a Park Ranger for King County.
Tommy enjoyed fishing, antiquing, and cooking. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving and generous person. He had the kindest heart and would do anything for anybody at any time.
Thomas is survived by his brother, Kenneth Joyner, sons, Robert and Keith Hoff, daughters Wendy Armes and Melissa Joyner and multiple grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Celebration of life is scheduled for 11:00am on October 1st, 2021, at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home with a reception to follow at Jeremy and Wendy's house at 1:00pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tommy’s life.
