Age 102
Mary passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. Mary was born November 2, 1910 in Tremont, IL to Charles and Anna (Fink) Cody, and was the youngest of six children.
Mary attended Nursing School in Peoria, IL and graduated in 1932. Mary met Ray N. Salter, who captured her heart, and they were married for 60 years. They moved to Spokane in 1947 and remained here to raise their daughters. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Hospital.
She attended Manito Methodist Church and Spokane Valley Baptist Church.1992, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ray. Mary is survived by her two daughters, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Mary was liked and loved by so many in her life.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 1:30pm in the Colonial Chapel at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, with a graveside service following at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane at 3:30pm.
