Maida Louise Rodgers

Maida was born on Aug. 21st, 1935 in Fairbanks, AK, to Thelma Driggs and Carl Mattson. She graduated from Gresham High School in Gresham OR. Maida lived in various locations in the USA and worked as a waitress. She could sometimes be heard saying "Maida made a mess."

Maida married Louis LaFleur in 1953 and they had 3 children together. She married Jack Fletcher in 1973 and they had 2 children together. Maida married Billy Rodgers in 1985 and they were together till his death.

Maida was an avid reader. She enjoyed quilting, word puzzles, gardening and writing letters to friends and family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a great story teller.

Maida is survived by her children; Janet, Leon, Mary, Clara and Jamie. As well as many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Billy; her brother Carl Jr.; sisters Neva and Irene; grandson Raymond Jr. and great grandson Gerrin.

Funeral service is scheduled for 10 AM on June 10th, 2024 at 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206 with a reception at 18619 E. Grace, Spokane Valley, WA 99027. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Maida Rodgers.
