Our cherished mother passed away peacefully the morning of February 18th at her daughter and son-in laws home with her loved ones by her side. Gloria was born in Clinton, Arkansas to Orrin and Elizabeth(Vic) Musgrave. She moved to Dallas, Texas where she married her first husband Kenneth Gilliam, they had four children, Donna, Clyde, Cal, and Deanna. She worked in Dallas as a legal secretary for a lawer and attorney firm. Gloria and Ken divorced and she moved with her daughters to California, they settled in El Cajon where she went to work as a bookeeper for a large water and power co. This is where she met her second husband Glenn, they were married march 21st, 1969. They moved to Bakersfield, CA where Glenn went to work for Armor oil company . While in Bakersfield they had their only child together his name is Glenn also, within a few months they relocated to Spokane, WA where Glenn and Gloria started a new division of Armor oil company. This is where Gloria would raise her 2 daughters and new baby boy. She was a free spirit and very outgoing, some of her favorite activties were: hunting (she was a great shot with a rifle!), bowling, golfing,camping, needle work, gardening and canning. She belonged to both the Elks and Eagles lodge where she would sing, play darts and pool with her friends, Gloria even did a few talent shows in her 60's she definitly was not shy! Gloria worked for Farmers and Merchants bank as a real estate loan officer. After retiring from the bank she moved to Pahrump, Nevada with a couple of friends to enjoy the year round sunshine until an illness brought her back to Spokane to be cared for by Deanna and her husband Ron along with help from her son and grandchildren. Gloria still got to go to Quest casino weekly where she loved to play her favorite slot machine "Jackpot Party". She also loved her crossword and sudku puzzles plus her game show network. Mom had a very sharp mind. On October 17th, 2016 she had a major stroke which might have taken most of her mind and memory but not the Love she still showed in her smile. We love you Mom!
She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn Kline, her daughter Donna Jacobs and her brother Denver Musgrave
She is survived by her daughter Deanna Hudson and her husband Ron Hudson, her son Glenn Kline and his wife Trisha Kline. her sons Clyde and Cal Gilliam, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to Hospice of Spokane. Family and friend gathering to be held at a later time.
