Evelyn Ruth Larsen passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2011 surrounded by family. She was born on January 16, 1920 to Harry and Nettie Dryer and is a lifelong resident of Spokane Valley, WA. On August 29, 1941 she married Earl Larsen and together they raised four children, Richard, Ralph, Linda, and Ray. Evelyn was a dedicated member of the Millwood Presbyterian Church. She was a great historian and enjoyed genealogy, scrapbooking as well as collecting stamps and coins. She also loved entertaining and was an amazing cook. Gram, Grandma Orange dearly loved her 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, sons Dick and Ralph and her parents. A service celebrating Evelyn's life will be held Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 am at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd. A burial service will follow immediately afterwards at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S. Pines Rd.
