Dorothy Louise Anthony, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the age of 94. Dorothy was born on January 28, 1928, to David and Julia Boviall in Kellogg, Idaho. Dorothy married James Anthony in 1947. They then moved to Spokane Valley and raised their family. Dorothy was employed by IBM Administration, and retired from there in 1981.
Dorothy had a positive attitude throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Boviall, and her husband of 61 years, James. She is survived by her son Gary Anthony, and her daughter Kathleen Reynolds. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Michelle Coplin, Lynette Streitfield, Travis Heine, Tiffani Reynolds, Michael Anthony, and Nicole Richards; five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service has been held. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Spokane or the charity of your choice.
