Stephen Lawton, of Sparta, passed away on November 23, 2018. He was born on April 28, 1961 to the late Rita Marie (Russell) and Peter Allen Lawton. Stephen grew up in Caldwell, NJ before residing in Sparta. He worked as a printer and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and brewing his own beer. Steve was also an avid Red Sox fan. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Alison. He is survived by his brothers Sean and Scott Lawton and his daughter Dana. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Stephen also leaves behind his dog Blue. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 27, 2018 from 3 – 6PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta NJ. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Stephen’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
