Michael Gilb

Michael Gilb, 69 of Flanders NJ entered into rest on Friday, July 7, 2023.

The son of the late Roy L. Gilb and June M. (nee Dolan) Gilb, Michael was born on August 15, 1953 in Port Chester, New York.

He is survived by his siblings Steven Gilb (Lorraine), Christopher Gilb (Mary), Janet Gannon (Michael), Timothy Gilb (Kelly) and Dorothy Fullam (Terrance) and many nieces and nephews.

Michael spent some of his best years under the care of his dear friend & caretaker James, along with his entire support staff at his home of 25 years, ”Pleasant Hill” in Flanders.

Michael enjoyed making friends and telling everyone about his favorite things; televisions, transistor radios and most of all, truck books!

Michael will always be remembered for his friendly demeanor. He loved and was loved and will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 13, 2023 11:00 am at Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
