Mary Calandriello

Mary (nee Romano) Calandriello, 92 of Panther Valley, NJ, peacefully returned to the Lord on August 6, 2021 with her loving husband Drew by her side at home. Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 12, 1928.

Mary was a devoted mother of three children; Frank of Denver, CO, Nancy of Great Meadows, NJ, and Peter of Hopatcong, NJ. She was the beautiful Mother in Law to Joseph Nebbia and Robin Ortiz Calandriello. Mary is also survived by her five grandchildren; Virginia (Louis) La Rocca, Joseph (Leslie) Nebbia, Thomas, Sarah and Robert Calandriello, six loving great-grandchildren; Louis, Sienna and Ava La Rocca, Elle, Rose, and Ruby Nebbia.

Mary lived a life of service as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Kateri Tekawitha Church in Sparta, NJ and visited the nursing homes in the area. She was known as a compassionate, loving woman to all who knew her and will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 4 – 8PM at St. Kateri Church 427 Stanhope Sparta Rd., Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, 10:30AM at St. Kateri Church in Sparta. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
