Kathryn Ann Hlavaty, 55, of Frankford., NJ died on Sunday June 10th, 2012 surrounded by friends and family. Kathryn was born in Hackensack, NJ, and grew up in Little Ferry, NJ. She lived in Wantage for 7 years and moved to Frankford, where she lived for the past 12 years.
Kathryn worked at Newton Memorial Hospital as a Patient Access Representative and at the Adult Clinic for 15 years. Kathryn is a member and Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Branchville. She was also a member of the Friendship Circle.
Kathryn attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Montclair, NJ.
Kathryn was unselfish and giving and admired by all who met her. She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend. She lived in harmony with cancer.
Kathryn is survived by her beloved husband Kevin. She was the devoted mother to her son Matthew and her daughters Corie and Janine; loving sister to Karen Flood of Toms River, NJ and loving brother Kevin Flood and his wife of Barnegat, NJ. Also loving cousin to Laura Snodgrass and her husband Drew of Wilmington, DE.
Kathryn was predeceased by her mother Louise Lalli Flood in 1999 and her Father Robert Flood in 1967.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Branchville. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Branchville PO Box 1, 3-5 Wantage Ave Branchville, NJ 07826.
