Jean A Lambert

Jean H. Lambert, 95, of Sparta passed away peacefully at her home on October 17, 2016. She was born in Orange, New Jersey and lived in Hawthorne, before moving to Sparta in 1965. Jean worked as a volunteer for Newton Medical Center for many years. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Sparta where she worked on the altar guild and volunteered at Manna House through the churche’s outreach. Jean is survived by her four loving children: Linda Palmer and her husband Larry of Sparta; William H. Lambert Jr and his wife Suzanne of North Canton, Ohio; James J. Lambert and his wife LuAnn of Wantage, NJ and Mark H. Lambert and his wife Bonnie of Yaounde Camaroon, Africa. Jean is also survived by her two brothers: James M. Hill Jr and David E. Hill and his wife Pat; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, 12noon at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 85 Conestoga Trail, Sparta, NJ 07871. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to: St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Foundation, 85 Conestoga Trail, Sparta, NJ 07871. The Goble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
