Carolyn E. Ryan

She was born to the late John J. and Rosemarie E. (nee Loschke) Vos on May 9th, 1963 in Teaneck, NJ. Carolyn graduated from Sparta High School in 1981 and received a BA in Business Administration from Fairleigh DIckinson University. She was married to Gerry J. Ryan since 1987, and they resided in Sparta, NJ for the past 22 years. Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Jenna E. Ryan and Shauna R. Ryan, and her two loving dogs, Layla and Mollie, as well as her sister Cheryl A. Vos Hart, her brother-in-law James Hart, and her two nephews Jack and Adam Hart.

Carolyn devoted the majority of her time to taking care of family, as she loved being an accomplished mother and wife. She attended all her two daughters' extracurricular events and regularly vacationed with her children, husband, and dogs each summer. Caroyln’s favorite place to spend time was at Hilton Head Island, SC-- which is where her ashes will be disbursed this summer surrounded by family and friends.

A Celebration of Life ceremony for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. A casual dress code is preferred for her celebration, (dark colored attire is not required).
