Carl H. Carlson

SPARTA- Carl H. Carlson passed into eternal life on Monday April 26, 2010 at his residence. He was 78 years old. Born in Providence, RI, Carl resided for 32 years in Florham Park prior to Sparta 13 years ago. He was an exempt volunteer fireman with Florham Park for 32 years and member of the Madison Masonic Lodge 93. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a sports enthusiast and loved being involved with his grandsons.

Carl was employed for 30 years as an office manager with the State of New Jersey Division of Insurance retiring in 1997.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sally Carlson nee (Sproul), a son; Peter and wife Babette Carlson of Brentwood, TN., a daughter Cindy and husband Bill Schollmeyer of Sparta, and four grandsons; Billy and Matt Schollmeyer, Logan and Austin Carlson.
