She was born on December 28, 1936 to the late Mamie and Floyd Lewis in Springfield, West Virginia.
Violet had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She loved to write poems or simple positive messages to those she loved. She was a kind soul who loved to crochet, sew, bake, and piece together puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Jones; brothers and sister.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Julie Eastman; son, John Jones (wife, Julie); grandchildren, Justin Eastman, Trey Eastman (wife, Emily), Amandelyn Eastman, and Benjamin Jones; great granddaughter, Amaia Eastman.
