Bonnie was born April 28, 1939 in Seattle, Washington. She was a graduate of Ballard High School, Washington State University (BS in Education) and Griffin Business College (BS in Accounting). Loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a supportive partner in multiple businesses with her husband and active in her girls’ many activities while they were growing up.
She was passionate about animals and traveling. She was a pet caregiver until her passing. She often said the interview was not to learn about the animal, but to learn about their owners. An enthusiastic traveler, she and Patrick had a house full of memorabilia of their years of traveling.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Patrick John Sullivan; two daughters, Patricia Fagundes of Oceano, California, and Brigitte Sullivan Bakken of Southport, North Carolina; and four granddaughters, Emily Fagundes of Commerce City, Colorado, Katie Fagundes of Oceano, California, Rileigh Bakken and Sawyer Bakken, both of Southport, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothea Kylen; and her brother, Ralph Thomas “Tommy” Kylen.
