Vincent Joseph Morelli Jr.

Vincent Joseph Morelli Jr., 87, of Southington, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in New Britain on November 26, 1936 to the late Vincent and Josephine (Kroll) Morelli Sr. Vincent was a tool and die maker for Perfection Screw in Waterbury CT from where he retired. Vincent was a true outdoorsman. He loved fishing, camping, and hunting and took great pride in his home vegetable garden. He loved a good fire and was splitting his own wood up until his late 70's. He had an amazing love for his Akita dog, Angel, who was always faithfully by his side. He will truly be missed by all who had the privilege to love him.

Vincent is survived by his three children, son Alan Morelli and his wife DeAnna, son Vincent Morelli III, and daughter Kathy Monson and her husband Michael Monson Sr. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Ava and Amanda Morelli, Jessica DiValentino and her husband Myles, Jake and Michael Monson Jr., his brother James Morelli and his wife Crescentia and his sister Donna Morelli. He was preceded in death by his sisters Stephanie, Alice and Judy.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family. There will be no calling hours.
