He was born on April 7, 1948 in Queens, NY, the son of Kathleen (Mulligan) Novi of Cheshire and the late William Frank Novi. Tom moved with his family early in life to Cheshire, CT, where the family would make their permanent home. Tom will most be remembered for his involvement in the community of Southington thru the various sports he coached and thru his involvement with Indian Guides & the YMCA. Later in his life, Tom would be instrumental in helping establish a lacrosse program at the high schools in Wallingford, CT.
