She was born in Cleveland, OH on September 13, 1959 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Cecilia (Sopka) Dorner. The family moved to Southington, Ct. when Sharon was 3 years old and she lived there until her marriage to Michael on January 24, 1981.
Sharon retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2015 after 30 years of service. She loved her family, cooking, baking and was known for her famous potato salad and Christmas cookies. She also loved travelling all across the country and Europe.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a brother Paul Dorner of Bristol; two sisters, Joan Radous of Houston, TX and Ceil Greer of Columbia, Md. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald (Gerry) Dorner and Bobby Dorner.
Services for Sharon will be privately held with her family.
