Rita Blais

Born January 23, 1934 in Maine she was the daughter of the late Omer and Aurore (Lessard) Dupuis.

Rita enjoyed playing cards, bingo, pokeno and watching wrestling.

She is survived by her four children, Susan Matthews of Bristol, Francine Blais of Rocky Hill, Robert Blais and wife Diane of W. Hartford and Donald Blais and wife Linda of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren, Lindsay, Parris, Nina, Christine, Michael, Stephanie and Marilyn; seven great-grandchildren, Mahleah, Jahzia, Jahvon, Mahkairah, Olivia, Delaney, Alexis and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Armand and Ronalde Dupuis and two sisters, Adrienne Jolin and Fernande Dupuis.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday 10:30 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, W. Hartford. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7 pm.
