Charles T. Joiner

Born March 16, 1982 in New Britain, a son of the late Charles J. and MaryAnn (Hilyard) Joiner Jr.

Charles graduated from Southington High School, and received his BA and Masters degrees from Central CT State University and was currently in pursuit of a second Masters degree from the University of New Haven. He was the owner of C&J Solutions, LLC and was a member of the Faith Congregational Church.

He is survived by nine brothers and sisters, Angeline, Darien and Keisha Joiner all of Southington, Tara Joiner-Smith of Newington, Inda and Brandon Joiner of Southington, Sheleana Hilyard-Shepard of Waterbury, Dorian Byrdsong and Selena Byrdsong both of GA, 10 nieces and nephews, Kayla, Kyle, Keyonna, Colby, Myah, Xaidan, Shakir Jr., Madison, Elijah and Ava; a Godchild Leeyana Mohammed and several aunts, uncles and cousins along with special friend Cynthia Sanchez.

He was predeceased by a sister Breya Joiner.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Faith Congregational Church, 2030 Main St., Hartford. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Donations may be made to the Charles T.
