John P. Heinrich

John was born on March 20, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late John and Katherine Puhl Heinrich. John was a lifelong resident of Lower Southampton Township, and served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Rita Heinrich of Southampton, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Dr. Thomas Birk of Croghan, NY; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. He is predeceased by his wife, Anna M. Heinrich; a daughter, Carol A. Heinrich; and a sister, Josephine Tressel.

Viewing will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Bede Catholic Church, Holland, PA. Interment with Military Honors will be at 11:30 a.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367.
