Elaine was born on May 3, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, George and Elsie Breuer. She graduated from Frankford High School in 1948. Elaine went on to establish a career as a Dispatcher, working for Bell Telephone/Verizon for over 30 years.
During her life, Elaine loved volunteering with the Telephone Pioneers of America. She enjoyed traveling with the Pioneer organization on their Santa goodwill trips to other countries and making meals at Ronald McDonald house for the families of patients at CHOP.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elsie, and her oldest sister, Elsie Hawthorne. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Malcolm.
Elaine is survived by her youngest sister, Marie Disbrow of Tuckerton, and her four children: John Malcolm of Richboro, Dianne Malcolm of Abington, Robert Spruhde (Iolanda) of Southampton, and Marian Nangle (Michael) of Chalfont. She is survived by 11 grandchildren: Jim, Melissa, Sara, Ron, Christopher, John, Michael, Maggie, Mary, RJ, and Emily. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren: Elayna, Grace, Keira, Max, Julia, Frances, Eleanor, and James.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Followed by the Celebration of Life at 11:00AM.
