A long-time resident of Northeast Philadelphia, David currently resided in Churchville, PA with Ok Hui (wife), Michelle (daughter), and Christopher David (grandson). The Lord has reunited David with Gertrude (mother), Dominic (father), and Robert (brother). Diane Conners (sister) survives him.
David dedicated his life to helping others. He served in the United States Air Force, where he met his wife. Upon being honorably discharged, he joined the Philadelphia Police Force (19th District) and worked in Special Units, Narcotics Division. Upon his retirement from the Philadelphia Police Department, he continued working as a parole officer. David spent the more recent years of his life enjoying time with his family, particularly his grandson Christopher David, who provided him with so much joy.
As he passes into the Lord’s care, we hope that he is reunited with his family and dear friends who have passed before him. May they welcome him with love, joy, and Doo Wop.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet David's family from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton PA 18966. Mass will be held Friday, Oct. 23 1:00pm, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro PA 18954. Interment will follow immediately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia.
