He was the son of Thomas R. Curtin and Marion V. ( Winslow) Curtin and was born in Medford, MA. He is survived by his brother Michael Curtin of Amesbury, MA, his sister Katherine Buckley of East Greenwich, RI, and his sister Carol O'Connor of Tyngsboro, MA. Tom's beloved brother, Jack, passed away many years ago at the age of 36.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Karen, or Karen Elizabeth as he preferred to call her. His sisters-in-law Katherine Wicks of Amherst, NH and Vicki Leach of Swansea, MA mourn his loss as they thought of him as their brother. Tom leaves numerous nieces and nephews as well.
Tom was a graduate of Boston University and subsequently earned a degree in Radiologic Technology from Northern Essex Community College. He was an avid baseball players throughout his younger years. he loved history, including stories about World War II, as well as about ancient civilization.
The family would like to thank Tom's special friend and caregiver, Julie, who took such loving care of him during the last few years of his life. We also thank VNA Hospice of Cape Cod for their support and genuine caring.
