She’s survived by loved ones in the Chevalier, Langevin, Hart, Wright, Chand, Leahy, Burch, Smith, Canady, and Warren families. Jeanne absolutely considered her friends to be an extension of her family. Proud godmother of Justin George, and Jessica and Amanda Chevalier. Jeanne was preceded in death by her beloved father, Francis Holland, and mother, Dorothy (Waite) Holland.
Her love of sports stemmed from time spent with her father watching Patriots and Red Sox. She loved playing golf, walking her dog, and most of all, being with family and friends. Her friendships spanned decades. There was nothing more important than the people in her life. Jeanne was generous with her time, support, and love. She enjoyed the beach and sunsets, attending the theater, shopping, and dining out.
Jeanne resided in Medford and Dennis, MA, and Seattle, WA. She graduated from Matignon High School in 1962. Jeanne went on to earn her BS from Boston College’s School of Nursing, Masters of Nursing from Boston College, and MBA from the University of Washington.
She taught nursing and graduate students, published a book on cardiovascular nursing, and was the first Executive Director of Beverly Hospital’s Northeast Physician’s Health Organization, which she helped develop. She retired from Beverly Hospital in 2012 where she made lifelong friends and had a significant impact within the medical community.
Jeanne’s funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Cape Church, 468 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA, on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
