Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Barrett

Cynthia Ann Barrett (Riendeau) of Dennis, MA passed away suddenly at home on March 2, 2023. She was 66 years old. She was the loving wife of Bill “Doc” Barrett. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Howard Riendeau and the late Barbara Sackman.

Cindy graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 1974 and went on to work in the food service industry. She had a passion for cooking and was always ready with meals for friends and family in times of need or just because. Cindy was known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and her great sense of humor. She was an avid reader and loved visiting Dennis Memorial Library.

She is also survived by her loving children, Ashley Cruz, of São Paulo Brazil, Kyle Bowser and her husband Ross of Barnstable, and Brooke Handel and her husband Geoff Allanbrook of Yarmouth.

Cindy is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Isaiah Cruz, Sophia Cruz, Ava Duncker, Stella Cosmo, Rose Allanbrook, Esme Bowser, Eden Bowser and predeceased by grandson Ezra Bowser. She was excited to meet her newest grandson who is due in April. She loved spending time with her family and took such pride in being a mom and grandmother.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 7th from 4-8 PM at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660. Burial will be private.
