Ronald E. Dow

Born in Norwood, the son of the late Melvin and Geraldine (Haskins) Dow, he was raised in Canton and had resided in Dartmouth for 28 years. He was a graduate of Canton High School and attended Northeastern University.

Mr. Dow proudly served in the United States Army as a Specialist Third Class and in the US Naval Air Reserve.

He had a successful career as a salesman for various companies through the years.

Ron was a longtime member of the Middleboro Lodge of Elks serving as Past District Deputy and Past Exalted Ruler. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Past President of the Dartmouth School Music Association and volunteered for the Sled Hockey Paralympics and Wounded Warriors.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Valerie Seekell and her husband Mark of Grandy, NC, Christopher Dow and his wife Dawn of E. Taunton, Michael Dow of Boston, Kathy Kichula and her husband John of Media, PA and Chris Silva and his wife Kristy Tripp Silva of Westport; a sister, Gail Eagles of Plymouth; grandchildren, Shannon Thomas, Jack, Emma and Sarah Kichula; great-grandchildren, Madison and Thomas Thornton; brother-in-law, Dr. Richard Chace and his wife Lisa of Hampton Falls, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was grandfather of the late Tyler Thomas.
