Robert A. Vermette, 83, of Dartmouth passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 14, 2015 in St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth M. (Cordeira) Vermette and the late Mary Vermette.
Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Paul and Adrienne (Grenier) Vermette he was a lifelong area resident.
He enjoyed sports of all kinds and he loved spending time with his loving family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving is a son, Richard A. Pacheco and his companion Laura of Fairhaven; his daughter, Cheryl Ann Born and her husband William H. of Rochester; a sister, Constance Legere of IL; grandchildren, William R. Born of Quincy and Heather Beth Kwiecien and her husband Michael of Acushnet; and great-grandchildren, Evan and Liam Kwiecien of Acushnet and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Paul Vermette.
