Nancy A. Noblet Portlock

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Francis T. and Evelyn (Kershaw) Noblet, she had resided in Dartmouth for the past 43 years. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1956.

Mrs. Portlock worked as a sales audit manager for Silverstein’s until her retirement.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, playing Bingo and also loved all animals. She cherished the time shared with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy L. Portlock of South Dartmouth; a son, Timothy M. Portlock, his wife Christine, and their four children, of Bedford, MA; a son, Thomas J. Portlock, daughter-in-law, Janice, and their children, Jack and Brynn, of Pepperell, MA; her twin sister, Harriet A. Anderson, and her husband, Robert, of New Bedford; a nephew, Bruce Anderson; a niece, Lynne Medeiros; and a grand-niece, Carissa Medeiros.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 11am in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. Visiting hours on Monday from 5-8pm. Burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
