Mathilda "Millie" Prenda

Mathilda “Millie” (Domingos) Prenda, 93, of Dartmouth, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Autumn Glen of Dartmouth. She was the wife of the late Armando “Eddie” Prenda and the late Cesare “Chet” E. Belli.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Pasqual and Gracinda (Valgoa) Domingos, she had resided in New Bedford for most of her life before settling in Dartmouth recently.

Mrs. Prenda had worked as a stitcher in the local textile industry.

Millie was a member of the Dartmouth Ladies Auxiliary, the Mount Carmel Seniors and she loved traveling.

Her family includes a daughter, Linda Giovannini and her husband Norman of Dartmouth; a son, Thomas H. Belli and his wife Linda of Harwich; a brother, Antone Domingos of New Bedford and Florida; three grandchildren, Kelly A. Rose-Wells, Zachary Belli and Kate Sharpe; five great-grandchildren, Lauren Rose-Wells, Tyler Rose-Wells, Elizabeth Belli, Henry Belli and Emma Sharpe; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, John Domingos, Adelarde DeMello, Lawrence Domingos and Arlindo Domingos.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 9am-10:30am in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd., Dartmouth. Burial in St. Johns Cemetery, 664 Allen St., New Bedford.
