Eunice May Ramshead

Born New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Lily (Pilkington) Eccles. Mrs. Ramshead was a graduate of New Bedford High School Class of 1948. She worked in retail sales at Lazy Boy, Keystone Furniture, Cartier Jewelry and Cox’s Candy.

Eunice loved the beach, reading, traveling, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter: Jane E. Pease and her husband George of New Bedford, five grandchildren: Kristie Burgo and her husband Lance, Timothy Pease and his wife Joanne, Milton Pease and his wife Lindsay, Elizabeth DeRobbio and her husband Steven, Matthew Pease and his wife Kristie, ten great-grandchildren: Tyler Jackson Pease, Donovan Joseph Burgo, Mason Carter Pease, Connor Timothy Pease, Reily Louis Pease, Brayden Taylor Pease, Taeya Susan Burgo, Lydia Marie DeRobbio, Payton Evelyn Pease, Grace Jane DeRobbio, and her best friend Sandra Bourque. She was the mother of the late Susan M. Hall.

Her funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11am at St Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Road, Dartmouth. Burial Private.
