Christopher M. Cabral

Born in New Bedford, a son of Jose and Margarida (Dinis) Cabral, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth.

Christopher was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, class of 2005. He had worked for The Lafrance Hospitalty Co. and also worked for U.P.S. in Dartmouth. He was a talented and knowledgeable handyman who worked with his father as his right hand man.

A true outdoorsman and nature lover, Christopher enjoyed all outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and kayaking. He loved growing vegetables in his garden, volunteered at D.N.R.T. and was a Benfica Soccer fan.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his longtime girlfriend, Jenelle Bellany; two sisters, Jessica Cabral and Kelly Demanche and husband Christopher; a brother, Joey Cabral and wife Karlene; two nephews, Collin and Caiden Demanche; and Jenelle's niece, Maria Bellany.

His Funeral will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 8 a.m. from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rivet St., New Bedford. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
