Leslie Thomas Lilly Sr.

Leslie Thomas Lilly, Sr., 62 of Princewick, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016. He was the son of the late Leonard Lilly and Goldie Meadows Lilly. He was born August 18, 1953 in Mullens, West Virginia. Leslie enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was loved dearly by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Roxanna Lilly; grandson, Leonard Lilly; brothers, Charles Lilly, Doris Smith, and Allen Lilly; sisters, Cora Penna, Lisa Blevins, Barbara Lilly, Ellen Ward and Serena Parks. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 43 years, Betty Lilly of Lillybrooke; sons, Leslie Jr and wife Valarie of Sophia, Tommy Lilly and wife Carrie of Sophia, Jason Lilly of Lillybrooke and Matthew Lilly and wife Courtney of Lillybrooke; daughter, Angela Lilly of Lillybrooke; brother, Jimmy Lilly and wife Drema of Lillybrooke; sisters, Bertha Williamson of Coal City, Oma McKinney and husband Roy of Coal City and Mary Waldron of Coal City; 11 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Charles Lilly Cemetery at Mitchells Ridge in Princewick with Rev. Dan Coalson officiating.
