Jacob Black, age 28, passed away at his home in Snohomish on Sunday, November 26th surrounded by his family. First diagnosed in February 2017, he fought hard against testicular cancer and the complications that it brought along. His optimistic energy and attitude in life was magnetic up until the end; everyone wanted to be near him and get to know him. He was never alone. Jake loved to watch and play sports, and as a kid had a once in a lifetime opportunity to play baseball in the little league world series for Mill Creek where he created many treasured memories for himself and everyone he knew in life. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Carol and Pete Jentzsch, and brother, Spencer Black, as well as his loving cat, Luna.
We would like to thank the family and special friends that have sent messages and visited in the hospital and at home. It meant the world to us and to him.
We will always miss him but will remember him for his kindness, friendship and humor! Forever in our hearts. RIP Jacob Riley Black.
