It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cameron Darrell Nichols, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished sibling, son, and beloved coach, who left us on April 6th, 2025 at the age of 46.
Cameron was a man of unwavering dedication—to his family, his friends, his parents, and his community. He was the rock of his family, a source of strength, wisdom, and humor. As a husband, he was endlessly supportive and loving. As a father, he was a proud and constant presence, always there with guidance, encouragement, or simply a listening ear. As a brother, he brought laughter, loyalty, and deep connection.
His passion for baseball was evident not only in his knowledge of the game but in the many lives he touched as a coach. He had a gift for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring young athletes, not only to play better but to be better. His calm leadership and belief in every player made him unforgettable on and off the field.
When he wasn’t at the ballpark, Cam could often be found with a fishing rod in hand, casting a line and soaking in the peace of the water. He also deeply valued time spent with friends—especially on vacations filled with laughter, good food, and unforgettable memories.
Cameron leaves behind his loving wife, Kate; his children, Grady and Connor; his parents, Mark and Bessie; his siblings, Candi, Ryan and Taylor; nieces and nephews, countless friends, teammates, and players whose lives were enriched by his presence. Though he is no longer with us, the legendary impact he made will carry on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of Cameron’s life will be held on May 5th 2025 at Thomas Family Farm; 9010 Marsh Rd, Snohomish, Washington 98296 from 3pm-7pm.
He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
