Mr. Jean Raymond Remy died on January 18, 2021 in Snellville, GA at the age 82. Jean was born on September 18, 1938 in Port-au- Prince Haiti to Therancia Remy. He grew up in Port-au-Prince and met his wife, Julie and was married for 50 years. He moved to the United States in the 1980s in order to secure a future for his family. He returned back to Haiti to bring the family to New York where he raised his family. He retired and moved to Florida then Georgia with his wife Julie. He was a great father and was dedicated to his family and friends. He will be dearly and deeply missed.
Jean was preceded in death by his late wife, Julie Remy. He is survived by his brother, Andre Cherilus and nephew, Marc Andre; his children: Sandra Charles and husband, Guy Nancy Remy, Margaret Hodge and husband Tony, Jean Remy and wife Nicole; grandchildren: Quayla, Andy, Marcus, Talia, Anthony, Angelique and Avery.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 22 at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church, Snellville, Entombment will follow in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville.
