Tim was born in Island Falls, Maine on September 29, 1949, the son of Pearl and Cynthia Hunt of Sherman Station. He graduated from Glen Cove Christian Academy and continued his education
at Glen Cove Bible College, graduating on May 30, 1970. That evening, he and his fiancée, Patricia French, were married at the Hope Community Church, where they were missionary candidates
with The American Mission for Opening Closed Churches.
Tim served as pastor of a number of central Maine churches, including South Newburgh Chapel, Canaan Calvary Church, East Benton Christian Church, and most recently New Hope Evangelical
Free Church in Solon since January 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, of 48 years, three sons, Jonathan and his wife Dee of Augusta, David and his wife Christie of Monmouth, and Joshua and his wife Michelle of Vassalboro, his mother, Cynthia Hunt of Brewer, four sisters, Joanne Philbrick and her husband, Rev. Robert of Clinton, Lauretta Kulp and her husband David of Bangor, Ruth Rancourt and her husband John of Winterport, and Rhoda Heath and her husband Steve of Sherman Station, one brother, Dan Hunt of Calif., and nine grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his father, Pearl Hunt and his brother Larry Hunt.
A Celebration of Life honoring Tim will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at New Hope Evangelical Free Church, S. Main Street, Solon, Maine.
