He was born August 19, 1932 in Athens, Maine, the son of Harry and Rosie Corson.
Aaron married the former Geraldine Collins on May 28, 1955 in Skowhegan, Maine, she passed away in 2001.
He worked as a woodsman for many years. He worked for George Wyman, Linkletter’s Saw Mill, plowed snow for the Town of Solon and Madison, and he also worked for Norrwock Shoe Company, and the Hartland Tannery.
Aaron loved hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two sons; Kendall Corson of Athens, Kelvin Corson and his wife Carlene of Harmony, Aaron R. Corson, 78, of Athens passed away on Tuesday February 15, 2011 at his home in Athens, Maine.

He is survived by his two sons; Kendall Corson of Athens, Kelvin Corson and his wife Carlene of Harmony, grandchildren; Liza Linkletter and her husband David of Harmony, Jesse Corson and his fiancé Karen Cates of Athens, great-grandson Isaac Mack of Skowhegan, five siblings; Glendon Corson of Embden, Leonard Corson of Machias, Erald Corson of Athens, Betty Brown of Skowhegan, Phyllis Avery of Athens, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife in 2001, his parents, six siblings; Eldon Corson, Ellery Corson, Allan Corson, Royce Corson, Vivian Taylor and Welma Corson.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Mount Rest Cemetery in Athens, Maine with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
