Bob Susskind, beloved son and brother, generous friend and neighbor, died on February 8, 2022, at his home in Reno. Bob was born on February 13, 1958, in Boston. He attended the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts and graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA.
Bob had a long and successful career in technology, working for many industry leaders on forward-looking initiatives in mobile computing, data center infrastructure, and digital services and products. As an advisor, he later worked with clients on overall business and product strategy and in corporate development and capital raising. In recent years he mentored and advised dozens of early-stage technology companies through his participation in several public- and private-sector innovation programs and as a co-founder of StartupNV.
Bob was kind and sought to be of service to others, especially his family. He loved dogs and was happiest enjoying the beauty of the natural world, especially the mountains of northern Nevada. Please consider a donation to the Nevada Humane Society of Reno in his memory.
