Dr. Stoehr delivered me at Walter Reed Army Hospital, March 14, 1961. I was a preemie and a “blue baby” and he—you—literally breathed life into me, so I was told. Wish I had met you. On some subliminal level, I feel I did. I finally got the urge to look you up, but too late. Perhaps you’ll get this thought or it will warm the hearts of those who knew and loved you best. Dr. Stoehr delivered me on 11-29-65; and then my son on 1-05-87.  He was a good man.  Was he Brazilian?

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Stoehrs  passing.  He was such a kind and knowledgeable doctor.  I got pre-eclampsia with my firstborn at 8 months and had to be hospitalized. Dr Stoehr put my mind at ease and was so kind and reassuring.  He delivered our firstborn daughter Tiffany and then 5 years later our son Ben.  Dr. Stoehr will always hold a special place in our hearts.   Ben and Tiffany are on the right side in the photo shown below at my husband Bruce’s 60th surprise  birthday party recently.  Please accept our deepest condolences.

I just learned of Dr. Stoehrs passing, and I can't stop crying.  Dr. Stoehr delivered my first daughter who will be 30 yrs old in December.  He also delivered my twin daughters just 14 months later.  Dr. Stoehr was simply amazing.  I was so afraid of what labor would feel like and he helped to make it a pleasurable experience  in spite of the pain.  I can't find the words to describe how much he meant to me and my family.  I still have the pictures he took with my babies when they were first born.  I am truly saddened by this loss, but am very grateful to have had such a wonderful Doctor.  And we shared a birthday!!  THANK YOU!!

Remembering dear Dad today.  I love you.  Thank you for being my Dad through the rough and calm waters of life.  Your life is larger than your body and I am aware of you daily.  When I sense into my heart space, when I look at my eyebrows in the mirror each morning, when I see a bird flitting through the air or butterflies fluttering onto a flower petal.  I sense you in the breath of the universe absorbed by the loving spirit of all life and creation.  Rest in peace...until we meet again.  I love you.

I am just now hearing of Dr Stoehr death.i am sadden . He was not only my Dr but a friend. I first met him when he was internship at Walter Reed hospital. After army days he started his own practice and he was my GYN dr till retirement. He also delivered my two grandchildren.
He was a great man and wonderful Dr. Even when I visited WAH for other reasons and seen him and he had time he would talk to me. He considered me one his first patients
I remember one day in his office he said to his nurse and I “ when I pass away I’ll be just be like other people lying there. And she said we’ll  put on your tombstone how many babies you delivered “

Won’t it be wonderful in heaven for him to be surrounded by all the babies he helped bring into this world.” Then came the morning”
Darla guess I knew you the most going to school with my daughter. I’m so sorry loosing your dad he was greatly loved and respected.



My condolences to the Stoehr family. This was a great man and physician. I am a patient with two children both delivered by Dr. Stoehr with the oldest being 33 years old now. That is how long he has been a part of my life. He gave exceptional care, showed empathy and compassion and had a great bedside manner. I have many memories of my interaction with him through both pregnancies and thank God that he was in charge of my care. I remember Janet running the office like a well oiled machine and got a periodic treat when the children may have been in the office. Later, I'd eventually see grandchildren which brought such joy to Janet and Dr. Stoehr. Great memories for a great man and his family. May God continue to bless you all. you had a special angel in your lives...and so did I!

I had the privilege of working with Naor for 20 years  When my family and I moved away we remained friends  Naor was so generous and kind to me and my family. I will always think he is the smartest person I ever met. I will remember his smile,his gentlemanly manor and that wonderful laugh. 

Dear Dad,  Thinking of you especially this week as it has been one month since your passing on. 🙏  I love you and am grateful you were my Dad on this earth. You are cherished and loved forever.  You shared much love, joy, laughter and wisdom with so many in your life.  Love and rememberance to you from your first born and first birth you ever witnessed, Your loving daughter Debbie. 💙
