Passed peacefully in his home in Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Born and raised in Kinston, NC, he was the spouse of the late Mary Gillard Ingram. He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Ingram Weedon, Lori Ingram Tabolov (Tairbek), and Kara Ingram Dukes (Donnie); two granddaughters, Ashleigh Weedon and Tyler Dukes, and two grandsons, Mason Dukes and Justice Westbrook Dukes.
Charlie served in WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War. He started out in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, NC. He was a Master Paratrooper and served honorably for 21 years. He then worked as the Equal Opportunity Director for the Military District of Washington for 25 years before retirement. He was a lifetime member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The Visitation will be at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home from 10-11am on Sunday, May 7, in Silver Spring, MD. The Omega Service starts promptly at 11am, and the Funeral Service beginning immediately after.
