Charles Melvin Harvey, Sr.

January 18, 1936 ~ November 10, 2018

On Saturday November 10, 2018, Charles Melvin Harvey, Sr. peacefully departed this life while at the Oak Manor Healthcare Center located in Burtonsville Md. Charles was born January 18, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan to the late C. Charles Harvey and Rosebud Lelia (Dean) Harvey. He married the “love of his life”, his beloved late wife Delorise C. Harvey “Dee” of 53 years, who passed away on August 30, 2018, and they had resided in Hagerstown, Maryland. Charles was also preceded by his oldest son, Gregory Harvey in October of 2006.

Charles is survived by his daughter Jacque Ballard and his youngest son Melvin Harvey, Jr. His nine grandchildren: Gregory Jr, Christa, Kimberly, Terrance, Lexus, Claire, Olivia, Victoria and Grace; Three great grandchildren, James “Buddha”, Kiyanna, and Pierre and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10 am at the Heritage Christian Church 15250 New Hampshire Avenue Silver Spring, Md 20905.
