Born January 3, 1943, in Sikeston, Mo., to the late Thomas and Bertha McCormick Cantrell. He retired from Monsanto in 2010.
On August 7, 1981, in Sikeston, Mo., he married Bonnie Parker Cantrell, who survives of the home.
Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Kim Cantrell of Essex, Mo., Bryan Wright of Sikeston, Mo.; two grandchildren, Jason Brown and Jeff Brown; one great grandson, Waylon Brown.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, Bro. Larry Kirby, pastor of Abundant Grace Church in Bertrand Mo., officiating.
A private burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Mo.
