Janet Davidson

She was born on July 28, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to the late James and Kathleen Sides Chappell.

On July 10, 1971 in Sikeston, MO she married Dewey Davidson SR who preceded her in death on July 1, 2010.

She was a member of Canalou Baptist Church in Canalou, MO. She had served as a Grandmother at Sikeston Public Schools and Poplar Bluff Public Schools.

Survivors include one son, Dewey Davidson II of Cape Girardeau, MO; one daughter, Nina Combest of Parma, MO; one step-daughter, Faye Lynn Heminger of Branson, MO; one brother, Rocky Chappell of Springfield, MO; one sister, Jane Chappell of Cape Girardeau, MO; five grandchildren, Bryce Davidson, Breya Davidson, Caden Davidson, Megan (Brant) Martin and Blade Bannister; three great-grandchildren, Carter Dejournett, Branson Martin and Blazden Martin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Bro. Dewayne Coleman, Pastor of Canalou Baptist Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, MO.
