Dotti Gardner

She was born on December 12, 1943, in Gideon, MO to the late Gail and Dorothy Oakley Harrison.

On September 12, 1964, in Sikeston she married Larry Gardner who survives of the home in Matthews, MO.

She retired after thirty one years as a fourth grade teacher for Matthews Elementary School in Matthews, MO. Then after that she was an adviser for ten years for SEMO College in Cape Girardeau, MO grading students.

She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston, MO.

She is survived by one son, John Gardner (Toni Curtis) of Matthews, MO; one grandson, J Lee Gardner (Megan Harper) of Matthews, MO and two great grandsons, Rylan Turner and Bennett Turner.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, William Harrison.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Reverend Paullester Walker, pastor of Wesley United Methodist in Sikeston, MO and Bro. Mike Cartwright, pastor of Assembly of God Church in Canalou, MO, officiating.

Pallbearers will be all her students.
