Donna Tidwell

Donna May Tidwell, daughter of the late Bersie and Clara Tidwell, was born on September 25, 1960 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Donna May was a woman who believed in the power of prayer. She loved her sons, grandchildren, and family more than anything. Her grand babies were her entire world. She enjoyed listening to Chris Stapleton, Elvis, and her hobby was making crafts. Before becoming disabled, Donna worked as a server at Golden Corral and at Bertrand Nursing and Rehab Center, where she enjoyed serving others and seeing them smile.

Donna was of the baptist faith. She currently resided in East Prairie Missouri with her son, Eric.

Donna leaves behind two sons, Eric Tidwell and Christopher Kreitzburg of East Prairie, Missouri; three grandchildren: Alyssa Kreitzburg, Leela Tidwell, and Eric Zayne Tidwell; a brother, Gene Tidwell, Sr., and wife Monica, of Sikeston, Missouri; two sisters: Faye Krauss of East Prairie, Missouri, and Charmain Van Ryswyk, and husband Randy, of Albert Lea, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Donna was proceed in death by her parents, five sisters: Mary Crowe, Marty Holt, Bonnie Ditto, Hassie Sweet, and Ann Evans; and two brothers, Roy Tidwell and James Tidwell.

A memorial service is pending at that time.
