She was born on January 15, 1940, in New Madrid, MO to the late James and Iva Belle Lenning Harp.
On October 2, 1956, in Kewanee, MO she married Frank Lewis who preceded her in death on January 16, 2008.
She was a member of New Beginnings Church in Miner, MO.
She was a secretary at Frank’s Truck Repair in Sikeston, MO, a family owned business, for eleven years.
She is survived by four sons, Billy (Linda) Lewis of Medilothian, VA, Nelson (Kendra) Lewis of Jackson, MO, Jerry (Lisa) Lewis of Morley, MO and Glenn (Kim) of Scott City, MO; one daughter, Sara (Richard) Bishop of Sikeston, MO; one brother, Tom Harp of Sikeston, MO; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen Harp and Franklin Harp; two sisters, Annabelle Cavey and Eva Tunnel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Brad Moore, Pastor of First Church of Advance, MO, officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Freeman, Hunter Lewis, Alex Killian, Eli Killian, Anthony Bryant and Zachary Howard.
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
